Chapter 19

(The Down Fall Part 1)

Everyone had rested and arose early. The skies thundering and cracking with red and purple lightning, the two guardians reeking havoc with fire and lava surrounding most of the ground and deep blue waters drowning the half of the ground. Time was running out and Team Phenomenon was ready to save the world at any cost.
Xak stood out of the crowd as if he was a drill sergeant in the army, pacing back and forth inspiring his followers.

"Alright Team, this is it! This is the day we waited for. The day we smash those dumb Voids and take back this world. ARE YOU READY?!" Xak shouted with his fist raised high in the air, followed by his team mates and millions upon millions of heroes and robots alike.

"Alright! Let's get this Party rockin! Eggman! I want you to use your massive air ships to try and take down Chaos!"

"What about Iblis?" Eggman asked.

"Right now if we can stop one of those Guardians of Mayhem that should buy us enough time to stop Martyr, after we do that we can take care of Iblis." Xak replied.

"Okay? But why Chaos? Why not Iblis?" Amy asked curiosity evident in her voice.

"Because out of the two Chaos should be the easier one. With him being water he shouldn't pose that much of a threat when dealing with him." Xak replied.

"Yeah...but if we leave Iblis...we could be dooming our selves. Xak I think we need to make a plan here." Spark implied.

"Alright...any suggestions?" Xak said tapping his foot impatiently.

"I'll take on Iblis. He's my enemy and if I can stop him here then maybe that's the answer I've been seeking for saving Blaze." Silver said standing out from the crowd.

"You're not going alone!" Knuckles said placing his hand on Silver's shoulder "With your powers and my Strength, we can take him. No prob!" Knuckles continued.

"The two of you can't possible take him alone?" Spark stated.

"They won’t. We'll help!" Team Chaotix said announcing and standing out of the crowd.

"Alright! We'll split into 3 teams. I'm taking down Martyr, any one down to help follow me. As for Chaos, follow eggman and for Iblis follow Silver! Let's go!" Xak said marching as people started dividing into three teams.

"Xak! I'll go and get my friends ready to meet you at the desert by the old Base. After that I'm helping egg head take down Chaos." Sonic said quickly and dashed off. Xak lead his team out of the deep green and dying jungle and slowly started heading towards the desert, on their way to the Dark fortress. The very place where all this had started.

"Alright Mia, you're staying with me and Cyborg. We're staying close to Eggman" Spark said taking Mia's hand and helping her get on his hover craft. The three flew off towards Eggman's fleet of air ships.

(mean while)

The dark fortress had black clouds and red and purple lightning circling around the center, looking at if something sinister was about to happen.

"Myral! Mephiles! Mischef! You three will to lead my dark army against my Worthless half breed nephews, and wipe him out!" Martyr commanded, as the three straightened up and nodded in agreement.

"Yes! Lord Martyr!" the three said in sync and left the throne room. and shortly after. Dark Xak had entered the throne room after the three left.

"Lord... and what will you have of me?" Dark Xak asked.

"I want you here by my side, and help me prepare for the final preparations to my final form..." Martyr announced.

"Final Form?" Dark Xak asked.

"Yes...You'll see soon enough. Hmhmhm" Martyr said with a chuckle under his breath.

(Mean while)

Following Sonic to the desert to meet his friends, and prepare them for battle.

"YO, SALLY, IT'S ME SONIC!" Sonic shouted racing toward his friends up high on the cliff overlooking the ruins of the desert base.

"SONIC!--" Sally replied and suddenly was interrupted by Sonic's presents in the flash. "Oh well. i forgot you're Sonic for a second" Sally chuckled and turned around looking at the freedom fighters.

"Alright guys, we're helping out Team Phenomeon, a group lead by a friend of mine, named Xak. He is aiming to stop the evil corrupting this world, and we're here to help him. we are the army to help against the darkness. I won't lie things are not gonna be pretty, in fact far from it. But we're the freedom fighters! Nothing stops up! Not even Voids!" Sonic announced and cheered inspiring everyone.

"Yo Sonic!" Bean the Dynamite shouted "How can we know for sure we can trust these guys?--"

"Trust me. We can trust them, either wise I wouldn't have gathered you all here to battle this out." Sonic said, correcting Bean on his ignorance "Now any other stupid questions? No? Good. Xak and his forces should be getting here soon let's get ready!" Sonic said.

(mean while)

The three void brothers marched out of the Dark plains, towards the desert, with an army--a sea of dark minions ready to slaughter anything that wasn't a void. Minions from big to small, a force that would make Eggman's fleet look like child's play.

"Let's get this over with so we can take over this realm and finally relax..." Myral said as the other two voids nodded marching onward.

"Xak, as for you. Come with me." Martyr said walking away into another room. A room none of the voids were aware of except for Xak, until now.

"So what exactly am I doing?" Dark Xak asked, curiously.

"I want you to stand guard while I perform the ritual." Martyr said simply and firm. Causing more confusing for Dark Xak.

"Um alright." Dark Xak said.

(Mean while)

"Sonic! Is that Xak? the leader of Phenomenon?" Sally called out and asked, as Sonic reassured to her.

"Yes that's him. Let's meet up with them and make those Voids regret ever being alive!" Sonic said signaling the rest of the freedom fighters to prepare for war.

"RIGHT!" The freedom fighters shouted and made their preparations. Xak's team was coming to the cliff the FF troops mounted on, with his team on his back and eggman's robots following closely behind.

Xak waved to the FF troops and not too long after they gathered together.

"Hi, I'm sally and we've heard a lot about you, Xak" Sally said reaching her hand out.

"I would hope good things?" Xak said with a chuckle as he grabbed her hand and shook it firmly "So these are the Freedom fighters, Huh? I heard a lot about you guys when I was younger, but I never thought I would ever get to meet you guys. Funny how your enemy is one our greatest assets right now." Xak said with another chuckle, and shyness.

"It's only because we have bigger target, and I'm surprised Eggman can see it. Usually we would try and take it out himself along with us. How did you--"

"That's not important" Shadow said interrupting Sally's question.

"Oh Shadow. I had a feeling you had something to do with it." Sally said in a cute tune of voice, as Shadow slightly blushed.

"Alright, we need to stay focused" Cyborg said "We're close to the fortress, we can't break character now." Cyborg continued.

"Whoa, Cyborg relax. Are you okay?" Xak asked noticing something off kilter about him.

"It's just...the freedom fighters and war. It's just..it's just bring back memories, and I feel like...I'm slipping." Cyborg confessed.

"Memories? What do you mean?" Xak asked as well as peaking Sally's curiosity too.

"60 years ago. I was the commanding General in the freedom fighters. I lead my troop with honor, and we never lost sight of our goals. At the time we were battling against Gerald Robotnik, Dr.eggman's grandfather. But a tragedy befell one of my comrades. Right as Robotnik launched missiles at us, her injury cost me my life. I saved her, but not myself, after I was lost. Robotnik found my corpse and reanimated it. Making me this… machine. I was then turned against my own friends, and I slaughtered them all. It was only after the slaughter did I reawaken, and realize what had happened I then Forced my wrath unto Robotnik in attempt to kill him for revenge. He escaped me and 10 years later, created my younger Brother, Shadow." Cyborg confessed some more.

"That’s…horrible…" Sally said.

"Yeah… but that doesn’t matter right now. We need to stop Martyr." Cyborg said with with solid aggression.

"Right. So what should we do?” Sally said slightly speechless.

"For right now we should plan a sturdy defense for when the voids come.”Cyborg said intensely.

"Sounds good. And what will you do Shadow?" Sally asked.

"I’ll team up with Sonic and Xak and see what the three of us can do to number their forces” Shadow said confidently.

"Hmm. Very well. Do we know where the voids are yet? How close are they?" Cyborg asked.

"We are not sure.” Sally said and then looked at Xak. “But we are ready to get moving. We the freedom fighters are hereby under your orders, Xak. You command everyone here. Give the orders." Sally said kneeling as did Sonic, and all of the freedom fighters, team phenomenon, and even eggman's robots all knelled before Xak.

"Me! I don't know if I can command an army this big. I wasn’t expecting--" Suddenly Xak was interrupted with black energy strikes blasting at the army.

"They're here! well then my first order is to hold them back! while Me, Shadow, and Sonic prepare to unleash a brutal assault!" Xak commanded.

"RIGHT!" the army nodded and agreed, as they quickly formed a defensive wall as the Voids rushed their forces unto Team Freedom. Quickly before they could think twice, the void had impacted their forces on Team freedom and forced them back already.

"Crap! they're stronger then we anticipated! XAK! we'll hold them off as best as we can! But you better hurry!" Sally shouted.

"Right, alright. Shadow I want you to unleash as many of your Chaos spears as you possibly can to stun as many as you can-"

"Right." Shadow agreed.

"Then Sonic. While they're stunned you and I will attack as many as we can before we get overwhelmed. Once that happens bust out and try again. And we'll do it all over again" Xak said feeling a little insecure about his battle plan.

"That's the plan?" Shadow asked. "Well we don't have much times it'll have to do. Let’s GET GOING!" Shadow shouted rushing at the voids and leaping over them, stopping in mid air to summon his power to unleash on the dark army, blasting a rain storm of Spears from his hands. They pierced a abundant amount of Voids stunning hem for a short time "NOW!" Shadow shouted using his rocket shoes to move him out of the way.

"Alright! Sonic. NOW!" Xak shouted and ran into the dark army Wielding his black flames and turning himself into a black comet blazing through the voids like a knife to butter.

"Alright let's roll!" Sonic said doing the same as Xak speeding through the voids and using his signature move the homing attack, as well has his whirl wind attack, taking down a massive number of Voids. Xak leaped into the air, summoned his black flames to his hand and started to blast his black flames down into the enemy. "BLACK METEOR!" Xak shouted smiling as he blasted them out of existence.

"That looks like fun" Cyborg said. "Hmm I've been missing in action for too long." Cyborg said smirking, as his face expressed a deep desire to blast those voids away. He raised his arm and transformed his robot arm into a rocket launcher and blasted a great number of voids, as he ignited his jet pack and flew over the dark army and transformed his robot arm again into a gatling gun and started to shoot the voids in an arial assault.

"WUAHAHAHA THIS IS TO MUCH FUN!" Cyborg shouted happier than ever. Xak smirked as he turned around and found Mischef there standing.

"So dear Brother, It seems we're distended to kill each other... Hmhm talk about sibling rivalry at it's finest." Mischef said chuckling.

"Yeah. Well you know it doesn’t have to be like this. But then again I already know nothing I say will change your mind but let me ask you this..." Xak stated as serious as he possibly could as Mischef was stumped for a bit .

"And what is that?" Misched asked.

"Why do you prefer Martyr. Over your own Mother?" Xak asked with his eyes a piercing shining blue of heroism.

"Because YOUR MOTHER WAS WEAK!" Mischef shouted with his eyes a piercing crimson of villainy, as the two brothers chuckled and charged at each other with black flames in hand as their impact shook the whole battle field, with their fist's to fist's, their head's to head's, and their growls roaring louder and louder.

"Oh Shadow there you are." Mephiles said grabbing Shadow's quills from behind and smashing his face into the dirt, as he proceeded to summon his black fog to strike Shadow in the back of his head, but Shadow managed to break free and dodge at the last second, as the two stared each other down.

"So Mephiles, is that how you are now? Resorting to sneak attacks and cheap tricks. Have you sunk that low sense your lord was resurrected" Shadow taunted him. Knowing it would piss him off.

"Why you disrespectful little insect! I'll show you how powerful I am!" Mephiles shouted as his anger raised. His black fog surrounded him. and he struck shadow in the chest using his black fog like spears tentacles, and picked shadow up and smashed him into the ground left and right, and tossed him afar, as he used his darkness to catch Shadow in his distance, and toss him back to Mephiles. Mephiles focused his power into his fist, and impacted Shadow's face with a massively effective punch, throwing Shadow's body into the ground and sliding across the desert plain and into a stand along rock that easily crumbled on impact.

"How was that you worthless mortal." Mephiles boasted in his successful attack.

"Not bad. (cough) Now it's my turn." Shadow said standing unstably from that attack, as he appeared out of the smoke of the fallen rock and dust. Half of his face has been skinned off, revealing his robotic face underneath. "I'll make you understand." Shadow said with a little glitch in his voice

"What?! You're a machine? How was I bested by a machine?" Mephiles questioned, suddenly starting to shake a little.

"Because You idiot, I'm THE ULTIMATE LIFE FORM!" Shadow yelled as he turned his rings, taking them off, and unleashed his chaos level, turning red with a fiery Aura around him. He teleported next to Mephiles, and grabbed him by the face, then teleported again into the Planet's atmosphere, focusing his fist with his chaos blast, into it. Shadow shouted with hateful eyes piercing Mephiles's eyes causing fear "CCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHAAAAOOOOOOOSSSSS!!! BBLLAAST!" Shadow shouted punching Mephiles in the face and unleashing his powerful Chaos blast, directly into his face blasting him back down to the planet Mobius turning Mephiles into a Meteorite about to crash into the ground. As Shadow teleported again to the exact spot Mephiles was going to impact at, he summoned his power again turning into a bright blazing red flame and unleashed his chaos blast once again as Mephiles approached shadow's spot as the force of Chaos blast, and the force of gravity pressed themselves together with Mephiles in the middle,
slashing him into pieces. "Hmph...and that's why...you were bested by a machine..." Shadow said kneeling and panting knowing he used to much power. But sadly Mephiles had, summoned all of his splattered bits and pieces reforming his body back together.

"You know...Shadow, that really hurt...So bad in fact that I think…I'm going to kill you now..." Mephiles said as half of his own face was cracked and fractured. Now shadow and Mephiles, twins and one in the same.

"(panting) I see now. You're not weak after all." Shadow said as he snapped his fingers and his rings flew back to shadow, and instantly replaced themselves on to his wrists, saving his energy level.

"Wow both Xak and Shadow have some pretty tough rivals." Sally said a little frightened.

"Don't worry Sally. I'll protect you.--"

"Yes. Let the big blue idiot protect the small dumb rodent." Myral said chuckling menacingly.

"Myral! Sorry to break it to you but Shocram didn't come with us so I guess your opponent is gonna be me. By the way nice look. I see you’re a fan of my style?" Sonic responded smoothly.

"Hmm i didn't copy your look because I liked it. Besides I know Spark plug isn’t here. Hmhm but he will." Myral said staring down sonic.

"What do you mean? He's with Eggman taking down Chaos!" Sonic argued.

"I know." Myral said and then quickly charged at Sonic morphing his arm into a spike blade and lunched his arm at Sonic in a attempt to impale him. Sonic quickly dodged and dashed at Myral and swiftly slide down under Myral and sweep kicked him tripping him, and stopped and preformed a hand stand with a twist and back onto his feet.

"Haha you're to slow." Sonic said cockily as he wiped his nose with a chuckle.

"Is that so? Then dodge this one, speed HOG!" Myral smashed his arms into the ground then massive crystal spikes covered the surface surrounding Myral creating a bowl of spikes. Sonic panicked a little as he was leaping from spike to spike dodging the sharp points trying to get to the center where Myral was standing. He managed to get a good footing on a spike and leap upward and spotted Myral as he turned into his ball form and launched himself in his homing attack at Myral. But Myral quickly retracked his spike dome and blocked Sonic homing strike.

"Come ON! Is this seriously all you have? I'm already bored with you!" Myral said chuckling as Sonic was a little worried about what he had just said. Suddenly Myral grabbed Sonic's leg and smashed him into the ground and followed it by turning himself into a ball of Spikes and rolled over Sonic crushing him into the ground deeper. Myral then stomped on the ground and a spike rose from underneath Sonic, launching him into the sky. Myral morphed his arm into a spike launcher, and shot needles of crystal at Sonic piercing his shoulder, ribs, and wrist.

"MUWAHAHAHHAAA!!!! IS THIS ALL THE MIGHTY SONIC HAS TO OFFER!" Myral said psychotically! Xak and Shadow noticed Sonic's immanent defeat.

"SONIC!" Both Xak and Shadow shouted at Both Mischef and Mephiles, took that exact moment of guard drop to strike the two black hedgehog heroes. Mischef placed his open palm hand onto Xak's chest and blasted him with black flames tossing his body across the battle field like a rag doll, as Mephiles sent his fog tactical to wrap around Shadows his torso and slowly crush him.

"Looks like the mighty Shadow is not so great after all. Hmhm" Mephiles spoke confidently.

"HA! Xak. you fool!" Mischef taunted Xak as he slide into the dirt making a trail as he managed to break his slide by angling his feet in a position to which he could hop out of his drag but still spun rapidly hitting the ground here and there, but managed to use his weight to slow his speed and finally catch his footing.

"Damn... even with me weighing 400 pounds he can still toss me around like last time we fought. How strong is Mischef?" Xak said curiously as she stood up and started to charge back into the battle field. slowly and gradually catching speed and engulfing himself in his black flames becoming a speeding bullet of darkness as he shouted " DARK RUSH!" Xak then tackled Mischef with great force and speed as he took Mischef with him in this flight as they both smashed into the ground for quite a distance landing punches here and there to each other as they smashed into the rocks, boulders, and Mountains.

"You weak idiot! How dare you even be born with the same blood as me!" Mischef shouted angrily.

"Yeah well, love you to big bro!" Xak said with a cocky smile as she used their momentum to leap off Mischef and toss him even further, while Xak still rolled out of control trying to catch himself again as he rolled and stopped, and looked up seeing Mischef fly so far. Suddenly Xak squinted his eyes and before he could see. Mischef was using Xak's momentum, tossing himself like a boomerang, back and smash into Xak like a meteorite. The two laid side by side to each other unconscious for a moment. Xak awoke and looked over to see Mischef out cold, then suddenly Mischef opened his eyes as well and looked over noticing Xak as the two realized they were still fighting and quickly leaped away from each other in the crator they just made. Xak was panting a little as Mischef was limped and injured as they stared each other down.

"Mischef do you even know that Martyr is controlling you! You’re fighting for somebody who will toss you aside! like a worthless toy!" Xak said trying to reason with his brother.

"You don't know me, and sure enough you don't know anything! You're just a worthless copy of the original. Why should I even care what you say?!" Mischef said tossing Xak's word to the ground.

"Mischef...you and I are brothers whether you like it or not. And as brothers we should be taking down Martyr together!--"

"Worthless! You're worthless! Your words are worthless! Martyr will conquer this world! This worthless world!" Mischef shouted in joy as his swung his fist in wrathful vengeance.

"Fine, then this is it then. Only one of use will stand after this so prepare yourself! But this time let's make it interesting..." Xak said easy toned as she stood there standing straight looking at Mischef.

"Oh? And how interesting are we talking?" Mischef asked standing up and glaring at Xak.

"Let's see who is truly the strongest. With just our fists. No flames." Xak said smiling.

"Hmh, Deal!" Mischef said agreeing as the two then charged at each other.


(mean while)

Eggman was just now arriving at Chaos's location. seeing the monstrous beast destroying the world and every city it encountered. Eggman stood from his commanding chair on the bridge with Shocram, Marytha, and Rouge on the bridge with him.

"All right, you three are you ready to take on this beasts?" Eggman asked. Shocram looked out the window and gulped and began to sweat as she shook a little. Marytha placed her hand on Shocram's shoulders as he jumped out of surprise and shouted "AH! STAY AWAY!" He quickly realized he wasn't in danger and took a deep breath as she was starting to freak Marytha out.

"Hey Shocram are you okay? Is something wrong?" She asked smiling warmly.

"N-no! I.. I just am nervous is all--"

"Kick me, but if I didn't know any better I'd say you've got the look of fear on your face." Rouge stated loudly.

Dear? Pfft no! No way. Totally not scared... of... that thing." Shocram denied.

"Yeah right. That's the same look Sonic gets when he stares into a wide source of water-- aha! you're afraid of water!" Rouge announced.

"AM NOT!" Shocram argued.

"Shocram you don't have to hide it. If you’re afraid say so, we won’t make fun you. If you have an issue we need to know so it doesn’t slow us down." Marytha said soundly as Shocram lowered his ears and sighed.

"Fine. I’m afraid of water, yes. But it's not because I’m actually scared of it. It's because well, I'm practically made of electricity, so me and water don't... mix well..." Shocram said sadly.

"Oh yeah! I can't believe I didn't realize that sooner!" Marytha said sternly pounding her hand into her open palm with a look of dumbness on her face.

"Actually you're just as effective against Chaos as he is towards you, Shocram." Eggman said.

"Really?" Shocram asked curiously.

"Yes, water conducts electricity. They both hate each other because they both are each other's weakness." Eggman simply stated.

"Ah I see, but when I touch water I shock myself and trust mel it's painful, a lot more for me then it would be for you guys." Shocram stated.

"I see. Then you'll have to attack from a distance! You'll maintain a laser cannon I've been developing for some time now. It requires a large amount of power. Enough I think you easily overkill. Interested?" Eggman smiled.

"Heck yeah!" Shocram cheered.

"Alright Doctor, what are we going to do?" Rouge asked standing her usual hip to the side pose.

"You and Marytha will have to go out and attack using these specially made guns I developed for Chaos a long time ago when I tried to control him. I made them just in case he ever got out of control. It's a good thing I kept them all these years." Eggman said as she walked back to his captain chair, he turned and sat down and pointed his finger out towards Chaos.

"FIRE!" Eggman said loudly as his drones began blasting cannons at the watery monster.

"Alright rouge. Let's get going!" Marytha said a she taped her shoulder and raced out of the ship, running down the long hallway to the hangar. Leaping out of the open door where the drones flew out of in their ships Rouge started running after Mary and soon picked herself up with her wings and glided out as she then dove down at Mary and caught her by the waist.

"Are you insane? You can't fly" Rouge said hold her up and flying at the same time.

"So? I would've just landed in the water anyway." Marytha said arguing with Rouge.

"Whatever! Just take my gun and fire while I fly" Rouge said handing Marytha her laser gun while she held her up by her waist flying around. Marytha started firing at Chaos as the laser started to take effect immediately. Chaos roared and screeched as he sent tentacles of water at all the flying jets and at Rouge, and Marytha. Rouge dodged Chaos's attacks but not many drones were as smart or quick, as Shocram was getting linked up to the massive cannon in the bowels of the ship.

"So eggman, is this gonna hurt?" Shocram asked a little concerned.

"Not at all...Well maybe. I don't know, we'll find out." Eggman said pause after a pause as Shocram started to worry. Shocram swallowed his fear and attached the last piece to his forehead and then Eggman activated the cannon. Shocram started to feel his power flowing and draining and rising all at the same time.

"Whoa! This doesn’t hurt at all. Now let's take down Chaos!" Shocram said. as Eggman aimed the massive cannon at chaos while Shocram charged the cannon. During the preparations. Rouge and Marytha were still flying out side as the drone jets were being numbered in no time at all.

"Eggman your robots are VARY! worthless. No wonder you could never catch Sonic." Rouge said as her talking distracted her. A tactical struck the two girls, knocking Rouge unconscious. Falling from the sky as Marytha had to drop her laser guns, and dove down after Rouge catching her and started to twist there bodies like a drill penetrating the water easier, saving their lives. Then marytha held Rouge's body as she swam to land. Carrying Rouge towards a tall building half drowned in water and another half still a good 30 stories high. Marytha ran inside the building before Chaos spotted her and laid her down flat.

"Rouge! Wake up!" Marytha called out but no response. Martha started to perform CPR pumping her chest for a while but nothing happened. she blushed and swallowed her pride as she looked at Rouge's unconscious body.

"Ew, ew, ew...I can't believe I'm doing this, but I have to save her.." Marytha said as she leaned in to perform mouth to mouth. Suddenly Rouge couched up what water she swallowed followed by more coughs and hacks. Rouge opened her eyes and sat up as she looked at Marytha.

"Did... did you just try--"

"No I didn't!- you were dreaming!-nothing happened!" Marytha said blushing brightly looking at Rouge as she stood up and lend a hand out to Rouge.

"C'mon we're not done...are you okay?" Marytha asked as Rouge took her hand and stood up.

"I'm okay, just feeling like I swallowed an ocean...*cough*" Rouge said holding her chest as she cough some more.

"Yeah chaos got the drop on us and knocked us out of the sky. I managed to save you and I from the fall by propelling our bodies together like a drill to break our fall into the water and then I carried you here. But we need to get back in action!" Marytha said holding her fist up looking at Rouge with a strong and determined expression.

"Alright, but what now? We don't have our laser guns so we won’t be any use. Hey sonic battled this thing before without those guns right? We can do the same and I know just the way to do it. You in?" Marytha said changing her fist into an open palm and left it in between herself and Rouge as Rouge nodded and placed her hand on top of Marytha's hand.

"Alright what's the plan." Rouge asked. Soon enough the amount of power shocram had inside his body was able to charge the cannon 10x's faster then eggman first predicted as the meter only showed half way charged.

"Get ready blondy! It's almost time." Eggman said clicking buttons and pulling levers as shocram had a determined looked on his face,ready to blast that monster into oblivion.

Silver, Knuckles, and Team Chaotix finally reached Iblis. Silver had carried everyone over into the fiery domain as hhe landed everyone on a small platform to rest for a while, surrounded by a sea of fire and lava

"Are you okay Silver?" Knuckles asked as they settled down on the rock, and silver dropped to his knees and panting.

"Yeah i just need to take a rest for a sec. It's not easy carrying a lot of people at once." Silver said as she stayed hunched over in one knee.

"Alright, well Iblis doesn't seem to be here yet. I swear I saw him over here-" Knuckles said then suddenly Iblis arose from the lava standing over 50 feet tall roaring out in rage.

"Oh crud. Silver i hope you're well rested cause he's here." Knuckles said as he took his stance as did Espio, Vector and Charmy. Silver lifted his head and stood up taking a deep breath.

"Alright. Knuckles...make a fist." Silver said solidly despite his heavy breathing. Knuckles look at Silver confused, but did as he was asked and clutched a first tightly.

"Um okay? Now what?" Knuckles said. Then Silver looked at Espio.

"Espio...grab onto Knuckles's hand and get ready." Silver said confusingly as Espio grabbed Knuckles's hand. Silver picked them both up and with all his might and threw them at Iblis and released them from his telekinetic grasp "ESPIO! THROW KNUCKLES AT IBLIS!" Silver shouted, then Espio smiled.

"I see!" Espio then held onto Knuckles and spun around picking up speed. He released Knuckles towards Iblis throwing Knuckles in a extremely fast speed. Knuckles smiled as he then got the idea and put both of his fists up as he impacted Iblis at full force, knocking Iblis back as knuckles glided back to the island. Silver caught Espio and carried him back. Knuckles landed on the island and chuckled.

"Alright, that was diffidently effective!" Knuckles cheered as Espio smiled.

"Indeed." Espio replied as Vector and Charmy cheered.

"Yeah nice shot!" Charmy commented.

"It's not over yet guys. He's coming back!" Silver said as Iblis arose from the sea of lava. Iblis arose holding a massive boulder the side of a building as the group panicked.

"Oh crud! he'll destroy our platform with that!" Espio said as everybody sensed the danger in store for them.

"Oh crud" Everyone suddenly seemed to say at once as the boulder was tossed. Suddenly Silver grabbed the massive boulder but was failing to break it's trajectory, as it glowed green but was still hurdling towards them. Then suddenly out of nowhere Cream and Amy showed up as Amy battered her hammer like a baseball bat, and struck the boulder, breaking it into pieces. As she giggled Cream carried her down to the platform.

"Hi every one!" Cream said smiling. as she let go of Amy on the platform.

"Heya boys. Did you need some help?" Amy said spinning her hammer and then leaning on it with a confident smile.

"Wow thanks a lot Amy. You saved our hides, just then." Knuckles said.

"Your help is much appreciated." Espio also commented as Silver stood prepared.

"What else is he going to do?... I don't know how much longer I can handle this." Silver said.

"Don't worry leave it to us." Vector said. as he pumped his arms and smiled.

"I’ve got an Idea. Cream, Charmy I want you to to carry both Knuckles and Amy and attack as best you can nonstop. Once you've warn him down by then Silver should be up and going again. By then then once we're all prepared we can finish Iblis for good!" Vector said. Charmy and Cream nodded taking flight and picking up Knuckles and Amy

"Alright Amy, are you ready?" Cream asked as Amy cheered "YEAH!" Amy said with her hammer in hand and they charged at full speed at Iblis as Amy smashed a chunk of Iblis off with her hammer.

"Alright, let's go!" Charmy said flying right after Cream as he carried Knuckles charging at full speed. Knuckles punched Iblis several times knocking off another chunk as the beast roared

"HA! piece of cake!" Knuckles said as Charmy chuckled as the four preformed the same moved again and again.

"It's working! He's getting weaker" Silver said as he stood up and fully recovered. "Alright Vector what’s your finishing plan?" Silver asked.

"Let me call them back and we can discuss the plan together." Vector said as the four came back after Vector called. The group huddled around in a circle while Iblis was stunned from the amazing beating they unleashed on him.

"Alright ready!" Vector said as the group cheered

"Let's end this!" they all said.

"Xak, how is the battle going?" Martyr asked as he sat in his thrown, taping his fingers on the arm of his throne.

"It would seems those inferior mortals are putting up quite a fight.." Dark Xak said not even turning around to announce to Martyr properly.

"Hmph....No matter they can fight all they wish but they will meet their end." Martyr said with a small chuckle. Dark xak chuckled as well as his eyes glowed and turned around towards Martyr.

"Yes...they shall..." Dark xak said setting an uneasy vibe in the room.
